Mon, 14 October (MTNews): In a generous act, Mumbai based Atharva Foundation donated an ambulance to the Ex-servicemen League Mon at a handover ceremony on 14 October 2023. During the event, Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, IAS, emphasized the vital role of health and medical care, especially as individuals age. He praised the significance of the donated ambulance in providing essential services to Mon district’s ex-servicemen, particularly in remote areas with challenging road conditions.
Captain (IN) Lalsuonglieng Tonsing (Retired), Director of Sainik Welfare & Resettlement, acknowledged the foundation’s laudable intention and emphasized the importance of supporting the welfare of ex-servicemen.
The ceremony included a dedication prayer led by Pastor KLBC Mhonchamo Lotha, with Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha officially handing over the ambulance to the President of the Ex-servicemen League Mon.
