ATMA conducts capacity building on organic waste decomposer at Ungma

ATMA, Ongpangkong North Block, Mokokchung conducted a capacity building program on 19th May 2025 at Ungma village.

The resource person, Watisenla Imchen, BTM of Ongpangkong North Block, highlighted the role of organic waste decomposer in promoting soil fertility. She emphasized its benefits as a substitute for harmful chemical inputs.

She explained that the decomposer effectively eliminates up to 96 percent of pests, fungi, and bacterial plant diseases, and can also be used for seed treatment.


Additionally, she conducted a practical demonstration on the preparation process of the organic waste decomposer.
