To facilitate better farming practices and increased production, the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Tuli Block, Mokokchung, conducted a training and demonstration program on February 14, 2025, at Anaki ‘C’ village. The resource persons were Imlisunep Ajem (BTM), Imlipokim Pongener (ATM), and Lanusanen Jamir (ATM), all from ATMA, Tuli Block.


The topics covered included training on the cultivation practices of summer vegetable crops and a demonstration on the varietal performance of chilli and tomato. Resource person Lanusanen Jamir provided training on vegetable cultivation and its management, soil preparation, crop selection, crop rotation, companion cropping, and insect-pest management.

Additionally, a demonstration on “Varietal Performance of Chilli and Tomato” was conducted. The resource person emphasized the importance of a nursery bed as the foundation for nurturing plants, highlighting its significance in market demand. The session also included a practical demonstration on nursery bed preparation and line sowing of seeds for the farmers.

A total of 20 farmers attended the program.
