Mokokchung, May 2 (MTNews): As part of the Moatsü festival organized by Ao Senden in collaboration with Fazl Ali College under the theme “Celebrating our Roots,” an Ao Spell Bee competition was held for students of classes 9 to 12 where 32 students from 16 schools participated. Atula W Mongro of class 12 (Science), Mayangnokcha GHSS; Lensen Ozukum of class 10, Clark Memorial HSS; and Imsusenla of class 10, Whetstone High School, Yimyu won the first, second and third places respectively. The winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes. The Spell Bee was based on the Arok Osep dictionary published by Ao Senden Literature Board. Judges for the Ao Spell Bee were Tashisangla (FAC), Sashimeren Jamir (Tir Yimyim) and Limatongzük (OKM president).
