Mokokchung, July 30 (MTNews): The Network of Blood Donors (NOBD) organized an awareness program on blood donation at Fazl Ali College in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club FAC on Saturday. Catering to the objective of NOBD, the program aimed to create awareness on the importance of blood donation and to find possible, prospective blood donors who may voluntarily donate blood in future.
The program was held at the college auditorium, chaired by Matsunginla AGS NOBD. Dr Atoka Wotsa MBBS MD Pathology spoke on the importance of blood donation. Invocation was pronounced by Limanaro, BSc 5th Semester, while welcome note was delivered by Yashikala I Jamir, Nodal Officer, RRC FAC. A brief introduction was given by Renponi Kithan President NOBD. The program ended with a Mass Prayer. All the students of the college participated in the program.
