In response to the “death penalty” issued to an Angami contractor by the NSCN (K) Khango group, the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has called for an Emergency Presidential Council Meeting. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 27, at 1:00 PM at the APO Hall in Kohima.
The AYO has urgently summoned all executive members from the four ranges—Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO), Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO), Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO), and Chakhro Angami Youth Organisation (CYO)—as well as the Youth Organisation President and General Secretary from all Angami villages.
Each village is to send two representatives to the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting will be to deliberate on the recent death penalty issued by the NSCN (K) Khango group and to discuss the future course of action in response to this grave situation. The AYO stressed the importance of this meeting and urges all invited representatives to attend without fail.
