Kohima, 06 April (MTNews): The B20 delegates from G20 countries visited the Second World War memorial at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Kohima on Thursday.
Dr Sanjay Mehrotra, President of Indian Association of Japan, one of the delegates, said that he had a fruitful interaction with the Chief Minister of Nagaland during the three-day meet, a DIPR report said.
Mehrotra said that the Japan delegation especially wanted to focus on fresh drinking water solutions, street lights on the highway, and a monorail from Dimapur to Kohima which will help in crowd management.
He also said that the team is interested in industrialization like food processing which will generate job opportunities for the unemployed youths of Nagaland.
According to the report, the visit to the Commonwealth War Cemetery, Kohima was initiated to provide a unique experience of Naga history to the delegates.
