Addressing the gathering, Dr. Alam described his tenure as Chief Secretary as “the greatest honor of my life to serve the people of Nagaland.” He praised BAN as “one of the few organizations genuinely supporting the state’s economic ecosystem,” citing its effective policy advocacy and formal engagements. Dr. Alam’s career stands as a model of outstanding governance.” He also praised his humility and responsiveness, noting the swift posting of a Joint Director to the MSME Directorate as a key example. He assured continued follow-up on pending matters with Dr. Alam’s successor.
