The Basic Training Camp in 10m Air Rifle and Air Pistol, held from February 18 to 20, 2025, successfully concluded at the 10-meter shooting range at Ladybird School, Alempang Ward, Mokokchung. A total of 11 young shooters participated and successfully completed the training.
This marks the 8th free training camp for Ladybird School students and the 2nd basic training camp for outsiders, conducted annually in preparation for upcoming district, state, and national-level shooting championships.
Lipokmeren, coach, and Tiasunep, technical assistant of Ladybird School Shooting Academy, introduced the young shooters to the fundamentals of shooting sports, including its benefits, safety measures, and the importance of discipline in marksmanship.
Currently, there are around 20 registered shooters at LBSSA, KIC, ranging in age from 7 to 15 years, with registration still ongoing.
