Bhagyashree Bhimraoji Banayat, IAS (NE:2012), has officially taken over as the new Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Nagaland, replacing Vyasan R, IAS. Her appointment was made in reference to the Election Commission of India’s letter No. 154/NL/2025-P.Admn dated May 14, 2025.
Banayat assumed charge on May 16, 2025, and will be overseeing electoral processes and administrative responsibilities related to elections in the state.
