Batting first, Bihar set the tone by posting a commanding first innings total of 482/9 declared. The innings was built on disciplined partnerships and controlled strokeplay, allowing the hosts to dictate terms from the outset and put sustained pressure on the Nagaland bowling attack.

Nagaland found it difficult to mount a reply and were dismissed for 155 in their first innings. Asked to bat again, the visitors showed some resistance but could only manage 163 in their second innings, leaving them well short of Bihar’s imposing total. The margin of victory reflected Bihar’s all round dominance with both bat and ball over the course of the final.

The standout performance of the match came from Naman Gaurav, whose composed double century anchored Bihar’s innings. His 200* run knock proved decisive, providing both stability and momentum and effectively taking the game away from Nagaland.
