In response to recent media reports about 11 individuals resigning from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mokokchung District, BJP Mokokchung District President S Bendang Aier clarified that the individuals who resigned are not current office-bearers but had held positions during the previous year’s tenure.
“These individuals held positions during the previous year’s tenure but do not hold any official posts or designations in the current organizational structure,” the BJP Mokokchung clarified.
It was further clarified that the incumbent President and current Party officials have not assigned any roles or designations to these former officials.
“Therefore, we urge all parties to accurately represent the current status of individuals in our party and refrain from making misleading statements,” it added.
