Mokokchung, August 25 (MTNews): As the winds of 2023 assembly elections blow in Nagaland with the high profile visit of BJP National General Secretary (Org.) BL Santosh landing for a three-day visit to the state, the BJP Mokokchung District also organized a ‘Morcha Interface’ in preparation for the 2023 elections.

An update from the party’s Media & IT Cell informed that District Vice President, I Lanutoshi Longkumer, as main speaker of the program, said that the visit of the BJP National General Secretary is a testament of how the central leadership, especially the BJP, is giving importance to the Naga people.
He asserted that the Naga people should take the most opportune time provided through the astute political leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Nagaland State Unit President Temjen Imna Along and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton.
Oyimpong Longchar, President STM, BJP Mokokchung, while enlightening about the Morcha Interface, said the program was organized/initiated as directed by BJP district president as a thanksgiving to God for leading the party thus far.
At exactly 12:00 noon, a mass prayer for the BJP Nagaland was held invoking God Almighty blessing on the national, state, district and mandal leaders.
Kisan Morcha, BJP Mokokchung President Tiayanger Jamir exhorted that such interaction among the Morchas guided by the district office is much needed for better cohesion, cooperation and mobilization of working force at the grass root level.
A short speech was also delivered by Kilemsungba Longkumer, General Secretary of 26 Aonglenden Mandal. The program concluded with a benediction by Kisan Morcha General Secretary Tiamenla and salute to the National Anthem.
