Ungma, November 29 (MTNews): Continuing with its Mandal tour program, the BJP Mokokchung District undertook a tour of 26 Aonglenden Assembly Constituency where a program was held at Nature Park, Ungma on Tuesday.
A host of party leaders led by BJP Mokokchung district President, Imolemba Jamir and his colleagues, officials from the different Morchas and Mandals also attended the program.
The district president Imolemba Jamir, while delivering the keynote address, encouraged the karyakartas to work tirelessly for the party and the people. Saying that the Naga people wanted ‘solution’ to the Indo-Naga political problem above anything else which will be the best for the Nagas, the district president, however, encouraged the party workers to be prepared if the elections were to be held as scheduled.
He also highlighted the different programs initiated by the Narendra Modi government and urged the karyakartas to take those programs to the grassroots level. In this regard, he encouraged the karyakartas to create awareness among the masses and form self-help groups for the benefit of the people.
The district Kisan president, Tiayanger Jamir, in his exhortation speech, highlighted the different programs introduced by the NDA Government for the farmers and urged the karyakartas to encourage the farmers in the district to avail the program.
Others who spoke at the program were District Vice-President and 26 Aonglenden Mandal In-charge, I Lanutoshi Longkumer; District General Secretary (Org) Tsukjemwati; and District Minority Morcha President, Rongsenyanger Aier.
BJP full-time worker, Aonukshi highlighted certain ground works to be done by the Mandal, especially with regard to filing of booth level workers for the upcoming elections.
The meeting was chaired by 26 Aonglenden Mandal Mahila Morcha President Rongsenlemla while the Mandal President Taliwati Pongen welcomed the gathering.
