On Mother’s Day, the Mahila Morcha of BJP Mokokchung District along with party district officials chose to spend time with the children at Care & Support Society (orphanage home), Chungtia, Mokokchung and provided gifts, provisions and clothing to the Home, an update from the BJP Mokokchung IT Cell said.
“The team led by MahilaMorcha President, Meyisenla Mollier and BJP District President Imolemba Jamir, accompanied by a strong entourage of party workers, reached the orphanage home with the sole mission to propagate about mother’s love to the orphans who, unfortunately, are bereft of that essential motherly love in one’s life,” the update said.
“It was an emotional day for the visiting BJP officials as the Director of the Care & Support Society, Imchawati Kichu passed away recently. Nonetheless, the BJP, Mokokchung district assured to render all help to the orphanage home as before,” it further said.
It added that the BJP, Mokokchung district President, Imolemba Jamir had also constructed an infirmary room at the orphanage home in 2021 and that BJP Mokokchung district had always kept a close relation with the Home rendering all help as and when needed.
The visiting BJP team included district secretary Temjennungsang and 27 Koridang Mandal President Limanungsang and other officials.
