Mokokchung, 3 November (MTNews): The newly appointed State President of BJP Nagaland, Benjamin Yepthomi, is currently undertaking a district tour as part of his first official engagement following his assumption of office. His tour commenced with a visit to Mon District from 28th to 31st October 2023, and he subsequently reached Aboi on 2nd November 2023, where he received a warm reception from the people of Aboi in Chen Area Morung (Paan), an update received here said.
During his visit to Aboi, Benjamin Yepthomi held a meeting with District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, Morchas, and Booth Level Committee members at the Aboi Organization District Office. In his address, the State President emphasized the importance of connecting with grassroots communities and strengthening the Booth Level to promote the welfare programs and schemes of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also highlighted the transformative policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Act East Policy.
On the 3rd of November 2023, Benjamin Yepthomi arrived in Longleng, where he was warmly welcomed by Former Minister H Pangyu Phom in a public reception at his residence in Longleng Town. The President conducted a series of meetings with District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, Morchas, and Booth Level officials. Furthermore, he engaged with the public to build stronger bonds and connections with the local community.
From Longleng, the President and his entourage are scheduled to proceed to Tuensang, where they will stay for two days.
“The State President is on a mission to connect with the grassroots people and to rekindle the bonds of friendship so as to strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party in Nagaland State at all levels,” the update said.
