Mokokchung, September 16 (MTNews): BJP national president JP Nadda on Friday visited Mary Help of Christians Cathedral in Kohima and later participated in an auto-rickshaw rally in Chumoukedima. During the cathedral visit, Nadda was accompanied by state BJP president Temjen Imna Along, and MP Phangnon Konyak.
The BJP leader then flew to Dimapur in a helicopter and participated in an auto-rickshaw rally from the airport, joined by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and State BJP President and Minister Higher Education & Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along amidst the party workers and the public.
Before leaving for Delhi in the afternoon, BJP National President J P Nadda held a meeting with Nagaland BJP core Committee in Dimapur today. State BJP President and Minister Higher Education & Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along in a tweet said they had a fruitful discussion on the strategies to be carried out to ensure BJP Nagaland’s victory in the upcoming election. Besides, Nadda held a meeting with the intellectuals and professionals at Naithu Resort Complex in Chumoukedima.
Nadda also met CM Rio along with the State BJP leaders in Kohima last evening.
