BPCC (Assam-Nagaland) distributes relief to flood-hit families in Tizit, Naginimora

The Border Peace Coordination Committee (Assam-Nagaland), in collaboration with the Mokokchung District Heads of Offices, Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry, village councils, churches including JATTT, TATT and Tuensang Town Baptist Church, Union Bank Regional Office, Jorhat, and other well-wishers, visited flood-affected areas of Tizit and Naginimora on Tuesday.

The team interacted with flood-affected families in the presence of administrative officials and representatives of various NGOs and expressed solidarity with those affected by the floods.

As part of the goodwill mission, the team distributed essential relief materials to 100 families across the two locations. The items included blankets, bath towels, women’s and children’s clothing, T-shirts, men’s and women’s innerwear, sanitary napkins, plastic buckets and mugs, cooking utensils, candles, mosquito repellents, phenyl, bleaching powder and potable drinking water.

The visit was aimed at extending support to affected families and expressing solidarity with communities dealing with the impact of the floods.
