The Department of Psychology at C-Edge College, in commemoration of Mental Health Day, organized an exhibition on October 9, 2024, aimed at providing valuable psychoeducational resources to both students and faculty. The exhibition emphasized this year’s theme of “Mental Health at Work” and the importance of mental well-being. It showcased the significance of a healthy mind and highlighted common workplace-related mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Students from the Department of Psychology set up various informative stalls focused on psychoeducation related to these illnesses. Attendees, including faculty, staff, and students from other departments, had the opportunity to engage in psychometric tests designed to foster self-awareness and understanding of their mental health.

In addition to educational resources, the exhibition featured a variety of interactive activities. Attendees participated in art therapy sessions, created mood boards, and engaged in feelings checks, all aimed at promoting mindfulness and stress management. The goal of this exhibition was to create an open dialogue about mental health and equip individuals with tools to better understand and manage their mental well-being.

The exhibition received positive responses, as participants praised the engaging activities and the insightful contributions from the psychology students. Many attendees found the interactive elements useful and informative.
