Mokokchung, August 21 (MTNews): The NSCN (IM) on Sunday reiterated that the Naga National Flag and Constitution (Yehzabo) symbolize the Naga National identity and that it can under no circumstances forego these core issues.
A press release from the MIP of NSCN (IM) stated that it has time and again “taken the resolute stand that it shall never deviate from the Naga National Principle at any cost and uphold and protect the Naga unique history.”
It was stated that the NSCN (IM) attaches”great importance to the Naga National Flag and Constitution (Yehzabo) as part of the Naga political solution.”
The press release also cited the ‘Naga National Decision’ adopted on May 31, 2022 where the NSCN (IM) under the leadership of Chairman Q Tuccu, Vice-Chairman Tongmeth Wangnao and General Secretary Th Muivah “solemnly” took decision to “uphold and protect Naga unique history and Naga National Principle at any cost.”
The decision, according to the NSCN (IM), was “compelled by unpredictable political situation” and taken to save the future of the Nagas.
