The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) held its Triennial Session 2024 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima, on 7 June 2024.
Speaking at the event, Commissioner & Secretary Transport and Director of Census Operations, Nagaland, Dr Zasekuolie Chüsi, IAS, said that CANSSEA, as an organization that advocates for the welfare of state employees, has immense responsibilities towards its members. He further stated that CANSSEA should not just be a welfare organization but also act as a guiding force for the state government. He urged the members to work with sincerity and dedication, guide the government in policy making, and contribute and assist the government in whatever ways possible.
President of CANSSEA, Dr Ilang, in his presidential address, highlighted the various activities and achievements of CANSSEA during his three-year tenure as president and thanked his fellow office bearers for their hard work and contributions towards the welfare of the state’s employees.
A new team of office bearers, led by President Zubemo Tsanglao and General Secretary Yhensenlo Kent, was elected for the next tenure. Earlier, Vice President of CANSSEA, Chubayanger, chaired the program, while Joint Secretary Visetonuo Angami pronounced the vote of thanks.
