Langsa Hill FC ended their campaign in style, securing second runner-up honours with a commanding 7–0 victory over Lüshe FC in the third-place playoff of the Captain N Kenguruse Trophy 2025 in Kohima. The result reflected a dominant display of precision, teamwork and attacking flair throughout the match.

From kickoff, Langsa Hill controlled the tempo, holding 64 percent of possession and launching repeated attacks inside the Lüshe penalty area. The breakthrough came just three minutes into the game when Eshong calmly converted to open the scoring and set the tone for the encounter.
Vinato emerged as the standout performer, delivering a remarkable four-goal performance. His first came in the 30th minute, followed by Eshong’s second goal at 33’. Vinato struck again at 38’, giving Langsa a commanding 3–0 lead at halftime.
The second half continued in the same vein, with David extending the lead in the 51st minute. Vinato completed his four-goal haul with strikes in the 57th and 88th minutes, sealing an emphatic win that left no doubt about Langsa’s superiority.
Langsa Hill registered 13 shots on target compared to Lüshe’s four, maintaining relentless pressure and forcing their opponents deep into their own half. Despite their defensive efforts, Lüshe FC struggled to contain Langsa’s quick passing and high pressing.
With this resounding victory, Langsa Hill FC concluded the tournament as second runner-up, displaying resilience, quality and the attacking brand of football that made them one of the most exciting teams of the competition.
