Mokokchung, October 3 (MTNews): Carl Rogers Institute of Mental Health and School Counseling was inaugurated by Former Director SCERT, T Sekhose at its building, opposite Don Bosco College, P Khel, Kohima Village on 3rd October 2022.
The institute was founded with the primary objective to promote mental health and school counseling with a non-directive approach to counseling as propounded by Carl Rogers.
The Institute will provide training on specific skills in psychotherapy, methods and techniques of counseling and activities related to mental health for teachers, students and parents.
The Institute will also hold programs such as group therapy, individual therapy, career talk, career conference, family and marriage therapy, couple therapy, child counseling, holistic counseling and addiction counseling.
