Advisor for Civil Administration Works Division (CAWD) Kudecho Khamo inspected ongoing administrative infrastructure projects in Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts on Monday, accompanied by newly appointed Assistant Chief Engineer Er. Ketuoselie Kenguruse and CAWD officials.
In Chümoukedima district, the team, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Polan John, inspected a flat-type C quarter for administrative officers at Medziphema. Construction began in May 2026, with completion scheduled within 24 months. The team also visited the circuit house under construction at Chümoukedima.
At the Dimapur Deputy Commissioner’s Complex, the team reviewed a modern G+2 office building. Initially allotted 24 months from November 7, 2025, the project received a seven-month extension due to delays caused by dismantling the old building.
In Niuland, the team inspected the G+3 Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex being constructed under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme. Deputy Commissioner T. L. Kiusumong Tikhir and other officials accompanied the team.
Khamo stressed the importance of timely completion for effective governance and improved public service delivery, urging contractors to maintain work progress and avoid unnecessary delays. The inspections also aimed to assess progress and identify challenges faced by district administrations.
