Chosen Baptist Church (CBC), Kohima, concluded its three-day “The Light Crusade” on October 11 at State Academy Hall, Kohima, with a call for believers to recognise God as the source of every blessing and reflect the light of Christ in their daily lives.
Held from October 9 to 11, the crusade was organised under the theme, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of light” (James 1:17, NKJV).
The culmination service was chaired by Petekhrietuo Mechülho, with Bishal Thapa, pastor of Chosen Baptist Church, delivering the message. He said an understanding of God’s goodness, grace and divine guidance was a perfect gift, and urged the congregation to walk in the light while remaining connected to the Giver, the Father of Light.
The programme featured a call to worship led by the Immanuel Praise Team, followed by Bible readings by Thsitila Thonger and Salenthong Khevazüklü. Special musical presentations were given by the Youth Worship Center, Flames of Fire Baptist Church, Neikho Kaimo, Thejangutuo Thevo and Voice of Faith.
Tsalichum Thongrü shared a life testimony, while Gwanye Kesen led the offertory prayer.
The crusade aimed to promote worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship, evangelism and spiritual renewal among believers.
