The Women’s Ministry of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) officially launched Anna’s Ministry on March 20 at the church premises. The new initiative is dedicated to supporting single women, offering spiritual guidance and encouragement inspired by the life and devotion of Anna in the New Testament.

Khrienuo Moa, Managing Director of G Rio School and President of the Rev Moa Longchari Cancer Foundation, Kohima, delivered the message for the day, titled “Pursuing God’s Heart.” In her address, Moa emphasized three key lessons from the life of Anna: Trusting in God’s divine plan and purpose for our lives; allowing God to replace feelings of emptiness by surrendering struggles and allowing Him to fill the void; and living a meaningful and purposeful life by dedicating one’s actions to glorifying God and serving others.
The launching service was presided over by Pastor Athono Rhakho, with Petelhouviü Vese invoking God’s blessings on the new ministry. Testimony was shared by Aneile Rhakho, adding a personal touch to the service.
Rev Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh, Senior Pastor of CBCK, led the act of launching and offered a prayer for the committee members, seeking God’s guidance and blessings as they begin their journey of ministering to single women.
