Mokokchung Times, July 17 (MTNews): The Central Nagaland Women Association (CNWA) has in a press statement issued today said that it strongly stands in support of Central Nagaland Tribe Council’s call for resumption of petroleum and natural gas exploration in Nagaland. CNWA also said in the press statement, appended by its Information & Publicity Secretary of CNWA, Angelina Ngullie, that it also supports the NCTC’s call to “boycott the solidarity walk organized by the Global Naga Forum.”
It was also informed that the CNWA at its first executive meeting, which was presided over by president K. Atoli Sema and recorded by general secretary Zujano Patton, deliberated on various issues and one among them was to tour the three respective districts of Mokokchung, Wokha and Zunheboto in the near future. It may be mentioned that CNWA was formed on May 14, 2022 at Wokha.
