Mokokchung, September 30 (MTNews): Central Nodal Officer for Mokokchung District, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (H & FW), New Delhi along with state officials visited Mokokchung on September 29 with an objective to uplift the performance of the district under “Mission Utkarsh”.

 

 

 

An update from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Mokokchung informed that the officials from the Ministry held a meeting with district officials to discuss the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the chairmanship of Central Nodal Officer in charge of Mokokchung District, Hekali Zhimomi IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of H & F W, New Delhi, at CMO Conference Hall, Mokokchung.

 

Reena Hanodak IAS, Assistant Secretary from Ministry of H & F W, New Delhi presented a PowerPoint presentation on the progress of KPI for Mokokchung district. A detailed assessment of nine KPIs were made and suggestions given for improving the Key Indicators on Child and Maternal Health.

 

Issue based discussions were taken up. Development of time bound strategies, planning & monitoring of District Health Action Plan (DHAP), convergence & coordination with allied departments and development partners, rationalization of human resource and regular review and monitoring of ongoing programs and KPIs: to be monitored closely by the District Health Society headed by the Deputy Commissioner of the District, the update informed.

 

The update further stated that Mokokchung district has progressed in the KPI’s since April 2022. After the meeting, the officials visited HWC Mopungchuket.
