Kohima, 22 February (MTNews): The Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Department of Food and Public Distribution, has advised and directed the completion of the validation of seeded Aadhaar numbers under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Household (PHH) of the National Food Security Act, NFSA. In a public announcement, the Director of Food & Civil Supplies, Nagaland, Chubawati Chang, stated that the Ministry has also directed to ensure that the seeded Aadhaar numbers are correct and belong to the same persons as appearing in the Ration Card details.
In this regard, he mentioned that all the members appearing on the ration card should perform and complete e-KYC at any FPS through the ePoS device installed in the FPS on or before the 29th of this month, as the deadline set by the Ministry. All eligible persons who do not possess a ration card under NFSA can avail the facility by contacting District Offices or subordinate staff in the sub-divisions during office hours for necessary instructions.
