The 58th Games and Sports Meet 2024 of the Pholami Youth Organization was inaugurated by Nuzota Swuro, Chairman of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA), GoN, as the Special Guest on 17 December 2024.
In his address at the Pholami Village Local Ground, the Special Guest Nuzota Swuro lauded the village for preserving its rich culture and traditions to this day. He also highlighted the importance of peace and unity in society to progress in today’s world.
He emphasized the significance of physical and mental health among the youth and encouraged them to remain humble before God and obedient to moral values in order to be good sportspeople.
He also congratulated Tsuveto Resuh (Senior Category) and Mulukhro Nakro (Junior Category) for winning gold medals in National Belt Wrestling.
The inaugural session of the 58th Games and Sports Meet of PYO was chaired by Huto Nakro, with the presidential address delivered by Vekrohu Nakro. Greetings were extended by the President of the Runguzumi Youth Organization, and Er. Vehuvo Nakro, SDO of the PWD, Industries and Commerce Department, GoN, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
