The Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) held its general session on July 25 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, near Kohima.
Former Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Z. Lohe and IGP (INT), PHQ, Government of Nagaland, Rothihu Tetseo, IPS, addressed the gathering.
CHK president Dozohu Tunyi delivered the presidential address, while CHK general secretary Mutsivoyi Kotso and finance secretary Lhuvesayi Lohe presented the building construction report and financial report respectively.
The session was chaired by CHK vice president Neizulo Therie, while Rev. Dr Thujoneyi Veswuh, Associate Pastor, CBCMHK, offered the invocation. CHK legal secretary Vekhotso Swuro delivered the welcome address.
Folk performances were presented by the Chakhesang Cultural Research Institute, Chetheba, and Rose Vero.
Rev. Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh, senior pastor, CBCK, offered prayer for the installation of the new office bearers, while Rev. Khrotso Mero, advisor, CBCK, pronounced the benediction.
Meanwhile, CHK Nomination Committee convenor Theja Therieh announced the new team of CHK and Chakhesang Youth Organization Kohima (CYOK) for the 2026-2029 tenure.
