The Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) will hold its 13th General Conference on April 11 at the Multipurpose Hall, Thenyizumi village in Phek district, under the theme “Give to gain.”

Nagaland’s Power and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, K. G. Kenye, will attend as the special guest, while Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, will be the guest of honour.

Greetings will be delivered by Vezuhu Keyho, President of the Chakhesang Public Organisation.

A collaborative programme between CMA and State Institute of Rural Development Nagaland (SIRD) will also be held. Risuhlu Rhakho, Consultant, SIRD Nagaland, will speak on “Building women and girl-friendly villages.”

The conference will feature a folk song competition. CMA has informed that all village and town units must send 10 delegates. Chakhesang women leaders, officials, pastors, and well-wishers have been invited to attend.
