According to a press release, the Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, graced the occasion as the special guest. Advisor for CAWD, Küdecho Khamo, attended the event as the guest of honor.

Advisor Küdecho Khamo, speaking on the occasion, stressed the importance of striving for success through diligent effort rather than merely dreaming about it. He emphasized that one’s future position hinges on their present actions, pointing out that most successful people are not gifted but work hard to achieve their goals. Khamo urged attendees to aspire boldly, encouraging them not only to pursue personal goals, fame, or financial prosperity but also to channel their ambitions toward glorifying the divine.

He also advocated for a connection with God through prayer and the continuous reading of the Bible, adding that prayer paves the way for success. “Most challenges facing us today are not primarily political, social, or economic issues, but the bottom line of the problems is spiritual bankruptcy,” he said.

“No matter how crowded or competitive the world may be, there is always room for God-fearing and hardworking people,” said Khamo. He also asked the participants to safeguard their faith and be ambassadors of Jesus Christ wherever they go.

Earlier, the presidential address was delivered by Sheniehu Theluo, President of CSUD, greetings were given by Avezo Kapuh, President of the Chakhesang Students Union, and exhortation was provided by Vezuhu Keyho, President of the Chakhesang Public Organization.
