The Chakhesang Thinkers’ Forum (CTF) hosted a felicitation program today to honor the newly elected Office Bearers of the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO). The event took place at the Chakhesang Baptist Church Dimapur (CBCD) Conference Hall in Chakhesang Colony on 18th February 2025, commencing at 2:25 PM.

The event was attended by distinguished members of the CPO, CTF, and other esteemed dignitaries. SK Kenye, Chairman of CTF, chaired the event and delivered the welcome address. In his opening remarks, Chairman S. K. Kenye paid tribute to the late Khrutsoyi Luruo, a distinguished member of CTF, and led a moment of silent prayer in his honor. The President of the CPO received a token on behalf of the CPO team from the Chairman of CTF.
Rev Dr P Bonny Resu, Senior Pastor of CBCD, offered the invocation. Vezuhu Keyho, President of the CPO, thanked the CTF for organizing the program and for their significant encouragement and support to the Chakhesang people as an elder and think tank of the community. In his address, President Vezuhu Keyho shared the organization’s vision for 2025-2027 and highlighted important roadmaps for the Chakhesang community.
CTF elders—Besesayo Kezo, Mikha Lomi, and Husazu Epao—shared inspiring words of challenge and encouragement, focusing on honesty, true leadership qualities, and the importance of being responsible and accountable leaders. This was followed by a lively interactive session.
The program concluded with a closing prayer of blessing by Rev Dr Weyiete, Chairman of the Western Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (WCBCC). The event was marked by a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose, as the CPO and CTF reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative efforts for the betterment of the Chakhesang community.
