Dimapur, November 12 (MTNews): The Chakhro Angami Kuda Students’Union (CAKSU) library hall was inaugurated at the Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) office in Phevima Village, Dimapur On November 12.
The library was established with the goal of not only making it into a learning hub for the community, but also to encourage younger generations to read more. All of the books in the library were obtained solely through donations from well-wishers.
The library’s collection of about 200 books includes educational books for school and college students, competitive exam books for aspirants preparing for competitive exams, Tenyidie books, and a section of books by various Naga authors.
Rev. Vilodi Sakhrie, Pastor of Town Baptist Church, performed the formal inauguration. In his speech, he emphasized on the importance of a library in the area and praised the efforts of the Chakhro Angami Kuda Students’ Union in putting the library together. He also expressed his delight at the presence of such a library in the area, describing it as a valuable asset to the community as a whole.
