The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Lt. Kekhriengulie Linyü, remembering him as a respected leader and administrator who devoted his life to public service.
In a condolence message issued on Saturday, the CPO said Lt. Linyü was “a man of exceptional character and wisdom” who represented the Chakhroma community with dignity and commitment. He served as the president of the Angami Public Organization from 2008 to 2011, a period during which he played an important role in strengthening community institutions and leadership.
Lt. Linyü also had a distinguished career in government service. According to the CPO, he served the state with dedication and retired as Additional Director (HoD) of the Department of Land Records and Survey, a position he held from 1995 to 2003.
Describing his death as an irreparable loss, the organization said his leadership and the foundations he laid during his years of service would continue to guide future generations. “He will be remembered for his exemplary leadership and the strong foundations he built during his years of service,” the statement said.
The Chakhroma Public Organisation conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God would grant them comfort and strength during this time of sorrow. The CPO also prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
