The Chang Region and Yimkhiung Region of the GPRN/NSCN-U have unanimously resolved to stand firm under the collective leadership of President Gen. (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak, and Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh.
This was resolved in an emergency meeting of the Chang Region and Yimkhiung Region of the GPRN/NSCN convened on the 4th and 5th of June 2024 along with all rank and file under their respective regions, a press release received here said.
“The House also resolved that there will be only one Yimkhiung Region and Chang Region under GPRN/NSCN banner and that any individual/group found mobilizing or attempting to establish separate ‘Yimkhiung Region’ and ‘Chang Region’ under GPRN/NSCN banner will be dealt with stern action as deemed necessary,” it added.
The press release issued by the MIP of GPRN/NSCN-U was appended by H Nasu Chang and Yimkhong Yimkhiung, the RAO of Chang and Yimkhiung Regions respectively.
