Mokokchung, 22 July (MTNews): The Longleng district administration has imposed a 36-hour total restriction on the movement of all kinds of vehicles along the Changtongya-Longleng road from 6:00 AM of 23 July to 6:00 PM of 24 July.
The total restriction has been imposed in view of the multiple landslides along the stretch due to monsoon rains and the possibility of further landslides in the area.
Travelers have been advised to avoid taking the said route until further orders and to take the alternative Longleng – Chingtok (IR Camp) Netnyu – Merangkong route, it added.
