Mokokchung, October 28 (MTNews): The Ao Students’ Union Changtongya Town (ASUCT), Changtongya Kaketshir Telongjem (CKT), and Akhoya Shisaluyimer Telongjem (AST) have cautioned erring government employees under Changtongya Sub-Division after they discovered that some government offices do not open on time while some do not attend office without valid reason.
The three student bodies stated in a joint statement that they inspected the various government offices and schools within Changtongya Sub-Division on October 27.
It was also stated that the three student bodies interacted with government officials from various departments during their inspection visit and took note of the issues faced by the departments and officials as well as shared their plans for the future.
Further, the three unions observed that some of the offices do open on time while some officers and staff do not attend the office without valid reason. In this regard, the student bodies cautioned that they will report to the ‘higher authority’ if the government employees in the sub-division were found to be erring in the future.
