A village workshop was held at Chedema, Nagaland, as part of the “Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Utkarsh Abhiyan” and “Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan” responsive governance programs on September 24, 2025, at the Village Council Hall, Chedema.
According to an update, Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a national campaign launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Under this initiative, 20 lakh tribal leaders will be trained, with a focus on enhancing participation in governance initiatives.
The program was presided over by Mesuhe Zao, Block Master Trainer (BMT), with a welcome address delivered by Seyiechütuo, Chairman of Chedema Village Council, followed by a workshop led by Block Master Trainers.
The workshop was followed by a Jan Jagran Walk and other activities related to the Village Mission Plan.
It was stated that the program was attended by frontline workers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and village functionaries.
