The Chokri Chakhesang Literature Board is set to organize a one-day seminar on Chokri language and usages on 20th September 2025 for villages under the Chozuba Area and Phek Area. The seminar will be held at Vamuzo Memorial Hall, Chozuba Town and CPO Conference Hall, Phek, respectively.
All heads of institutions, both government and private, have been requested to send all language teachers or any teacher who teaches language to attend the seminar. In addition, all churches, councils, and unit students’ unions have been asked to send two youth members (preferably music leaders), two council members, and two student leaders each.
The program will begin at 10:00 am. Resource persons for the seminar include research scholars, research associates, and language officers from Nagaland University, the Directorate of School Education, and SCERT.
The seminar aims to strengthen understanding and usage of the Chokri language among teachers, youth, and students, promoting cultural and linguistic preservation in the region.
