Chümoukedima, 17 September (MTNews): The Chümoukedima District Gorkha Union (CDGU), which will operate under the supervision and guidance of the Nagaland Gorkha Association as a constituent body, was established today at the Singrijan Village Council Hall in Chümoukedima.
The union has been formed with the aim of maintaining cooperation, harmony, goodwill, and promoting unity and equality of status among the Gorkha/Nepali community in Chümoukedima district. Gopal Lama from Chümoukedima Town has been selected as the president, and John Dornal Chettri from Tenyiphe will serve as the general secretary.
