Video shows minor being harassed by group of girls

The Chümoukedima Town Students’ Union (CTSU) has called for immediate disciplinary action after a video showing a minor student being bullied by a group of minor girls surfaced on social media.

In the video, more than five girls – some wearing school uniforms and others in casual clothes with school bags – are seen verbally abusing and physically assaulting another girl. One student is seen pulling the victim’s hair while others shout and mock her as she cries. A voice is heard saying, “Your crying today is your fault.”

The CTSU, in a statement issued on Sunday, said the students involved in the act were seen “exerting physical violence” on the victim and using “foul language.” The union stated that the uniform worn by some of the students is believed to be from North Town Higher Secondary School, though the identity of all those involved has not yet been confirmed.

“The CTSU is issuing a stern warning to the school that the perpetrators are to be identified and their names and identity are to be brought to the union,” the statement read.

“There will be no leniency for this behaviour and we expect the school to promptly carry out proper action against this act.”

The union said it would monitor the case closely and expect full cooperation from school authorities.

As of the time of filing this report, North Town Higher Secondary School has not issued an official response.

The video has triggered concern among the public and raised questions about student conduct. While the CTSU has taken a firm stand, the broader community continues to await official clarification and accountability from the school involved.

  1. I know this particular girl personally…
She was actually studying in our school but she got expelled but not even in our school even in other school she has an arrogant behaviour which school authorities doesn’t like it
And moreover she’s my junior but she’s acts like she’s the senior
Most likely to punish tis kind of kids so that they know the value of respect
If a child doesn’t create a good environment why their mates would even like to see her??
Rn their mates are happy seeing her in this situation what a shameful girl she is I hope she realised this and change her life bfre it’s too late for her ….
