Mokokchung, October 28 (MTNews): In honor of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Nagaland on November 2nd and 3rd, the Government of Nagaland will be organizing a civic reception at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima on November 2nd at 3:00 pm, and a Cultural Program and State Banquet at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima on the same day at 6:30 pm.
According to a DIPR update, all Administrative Heads of Departments and Department Heads have been requested to attend the programs. Further, they have been asked to arrive at the venue by 2:30 p.m. for the Civic reception and by 6:00 p.m. for the banquet and have requested to wear masks as per the President’s secretariat request.
Government extends invitation to tribal bodies for civic reception
Meanwhile, the State Government has extended invitations to the Civic Reception to the presidents and office bearers of all the 19 tribal bodies, the Central Nagaland Tribes Council, the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization, and the Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization.
The tribal bodies have been requested to arrive at the Civic Reception wearing their traditional shawls and masks and to be seated by 2:00 PM in the venue.
