Kohima, 28 July (MTNews): In continuation of the Finance Department’s previous notification dated 5 December 2022, it has been clarified that the ceiling of Rs 5 lakh on GPF (General Provident Fund) subscription in a financial year applies to all employees of the State Government. All departments have been directed to strictly comply with this directive.
Revision of interest rates on GPF/CPF/AISPF
As per the rates fixed by the Government of India, the Governor of Nagaland has fixed the rates of interest accruing on GPF/CPF/AISPF (General Provident Fund, Contributory Provident Fund, and All India Services Provident Fund) for the period from 1st July 2023 to 30th September 2023 at 7.1%.
