Mokokchung, July 12 (MTNews): The NBSE has notified all Heads of Registered Schools that the Board will conduct the Class VIII (only for Government schools) and Class IX Examinations 2022. The examination will be conducted in Phase I and Phase II.
Phase I examination will be conducted in September and Phase II examination in December. It informed that the detailed instructions and routines will be given out by the board at a later date.
It was informed that, as notified earlier, the subject-wise division of syllabus for Phase-I and Phase-II will be uploaded on the board’s portal www.nbsenl.edu.in.
Question paper design and pattern will be the same as the 2021 examination and no blueprint for those examinations will be given, NBSE said.
Similarly, all private schools should conduct Class VIII final examination 2022 in a phased manner in September (Phase I) and December (Phase II) and also follow the same assessment pattern.
NBSE also informed that students must be made aware of the division in the syllabus for the two phases of examinations. Schools should also be prepared to conduct the examinations and keep a good infrastructure and make available other facilities like proper working computers, power back-up, printers, etc. as the examinations would be conducted in offline mode.
It stated that special attention/ remedial teaching must be given to slow learners and students with special needs to ensure that students achieve the expected learning outcomes in various subjects, the report stated. Schools should also refer to Notification 68/2022 dated 1-7-22, and take necessary remedial measures for the students.
All heads of registered schools of the board have been requested to instruct their subject teachers and to prepare their students accordingly for the examinations.
