Mokokchung, 14 August (MTNews): A newly built classroom and kitchen at Government Primary School, Medical Colony, Majakong Ward, Mokokchung was inaugurated today by Majakong Ward Chairman, Marchiba Imchen. Dedicatory prayer for the newly inaugurated classroom and kitchen was pronounced by Rev. P. Chuba Jamir, Associate Pastor, Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA).
While speaking at the inauguration, the Majakong Ward Chairman expressed gratitude to the School Management Committee (SMC) for constructing the classroom and kitchen supported by the community and without any assistance from the government, describing it as an exemplary achievement.
He also encouraged the teachers to give their best in order to produce good students from the school. He asked the teachers to perform their duties efficiently during their stint as teachers, so that they may not have any regrets in the future when they retire.
Rev P Chuba Jamir, Majakong SMC Chairman Sashimeren, SMC Secretary & GPS Medical Colony Teacher In-charge Imnasenla R and Repabenba GB also spoke at the event.
The newly constructed classroom and kitchen were built by the Majakong SMC under the aegis of Majakong Ward Yimden with contribution from teachers serving at GPS Medical Colony and well-wishers.
