Tuli, 29 November (MTNews): In compliance with the directive issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi, and the Urban Development Department under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), Kohima, a Clean Toilet Campaign has been announced as part of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0. The campaign is scheduled to take place from 19 November to 25 December 2023.
In response to this initiative, Shaying Sheu, ADC and Administrator of Tuli Town Council, issued a circular on 29th November 2023. The circular has been disseminated to all ward authorities, business establishments, market areas, fuel outlets, bus and taxi stations, restaurants, healthcare centers, and all heads of offices/educational institutions. The circular urged them to take proactive measures and actively participate in the Clean Toilet Campaign during the specified dates.
