Dimapur, 13 March (MTNews): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Kumar Bery inaugurated the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre in Dimapur today.

Speaking at the event, Rio emphasized the importance of embracing innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment to unlock Nagaland’s potential. He highlighted the vision behind the Integrated Business Hub, stating that it aims to facilitate and support investors, startups, and entrepreneurs.

The Chief Minister emphasized that at the core of this initiative lies a commitment to streamline administrative procedures, promote transparency, and provide quick support to investors through a single-point coordination strategy.

He mentioned that priority will be given to startups, entrepreneurs, and investors eager to invest in Nagaland, while encouraging collaborations with local talent to seize untapped opportunities. Rio also mentioned that the hub will create opportunities for retail, food courts, corporate offices, marketing fronts for PSUs, and innovative enterprises.

To ensure a seamless transition to permanent locations for investors, a dedicated support team comprising representatives from IDAN and other government departments will be available. This team will also provide essential support services, including legal assistance, information on local business practices, and access to vital resources.

During the program, Rio also launched several initiatives, including the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre, Capacity Building Training for NGOs by CII, Innovation and Startup Training for Entrepreneurs, Startups Podcast initiative, Swavalamban Connect Kendras in Dimapur, Entrepreneurs Networking Station, and Education & Skill Loan Facilitation Centre.
