Mokokchung, October 16 (MTNews): The Department of Health & Family Welfare has informed that registration and obtaining the Ayushman Card is mandatory for the beneficiaries to avail the benefits under the recently launched Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), and that an Intensive Beneficiary Enrolment Drive Fortnight will be conducted across the State from October 18 to 31, 2022 to facilitate beneficiary enrolment and Ayushman Card generation.

 

It was also informed in a press release on Sunday that the collection of supporting documents for CMHIS (EP) beneficiaries for the purpose of registration is underway.

 

The Registration will be free of cost during this Fortnight, thereafter the Registration Centres will charge from the beneficiary up to a maximum of Rs 20 for every beneficiary household registered, taking consent from the beneficiaries for creating Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) and Aadhaar eKYC collection for generation of Ayushman Card for at least one beneficiary in the household, to meet their operational expenses, it said.

 

It also requested all citizens to register their family or update their family details either by self or through various Registration Centres and to obtain the Ayushman Card for every member of the family, all free of cost during the fortnight observance.

 

State beneficiary portal for online registration and updating beneficiary data is available at https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in. The same can be done either by self or through various registration centres, it was informed.

 

The registration centres include all Primary Health Centres/Community Health Centres empaneled under the AB PM-JAY CMHIS, Common Service Centres, UTI-ITSL and partner BIS Operators/agencies in the state or kiosks setup by Empaneled Card Vendor at the campus of Deputy Commissioner office and District Hospital in all district Headquarters as well as at the Administrative Office/ Health Centre of Block Headquarters and during their Outreach Enrolment Camps.

 

It said that various departments at directorate and district offices are also designated as Registration Centres for respective employees and that interested empaneled private hospitals are also designated as Registration Centres.

 

Registration can also be done during the Outreach Enrolment Camps of AB PM-JAY CMHIS, eSHRAM or registration camps of various welfare schemes in the locality, it added.

 

On verification and approval of the application for registration, the applicant will get a confirmation message over his/her registered mobile number along with Household ID assigned for his/her family. Using the Household ID assigned to every household/ family and following mandatory Aadhaar eKYC collection, Ayushman Card issued to every member of beneficiary household/ family free of cost by the empaneled Card Vendor.

 

The details of the Eligibility Criteria, KYC documents required for registration and list of Primary Health Centre/ Community Health Centre empaneled under the AB PM-JAY CMHIS and partner BIS Operators/ agencies in the state as well as details of empaneled Card Vendor at district and block levels is available in at the CMHIS website https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in.
